Harlem Sewn Up assembles a group of artists whose use of thread and fabric dynamically vocalizes their insights and views. These fiber griots, being influenced by this world renowned community, tell a variety of Harlem tales through their expressive work. Reflections of the past, commentary on the now, and bright hopes for the future are shared through their dramatic use of textiles and techniques.
